But any business that hopes to become successful must determine their “why.” Your ‘why’ should align with your core values. if your why and your core values aren’t supporting each other, your digital strategy is probably not working to its full potential. This means your website isn’t working for you, but instead it’s working against you! Having a successful digital strategy is essential to creating a clear message for your audience.
To determine your why a good place to start is to look on your website’s About Us page. Here at Evolve, we determined that our why is, We’re in Business, to Keep You in Business. Yes, we create websites, do merchant processing, and digital marketing — but that’s not why we’re in business. By evaluating our core values we were able to come to the conclusion above.
