Our History
In 1993, Marnie and Donald founded Transcomp, Inc., Evolve’s precursor, and started selling computers and LAN services from their basement. Their humble beginnings with just a card table, phone book, and Darth Vader telephone grew into a full-fledged agency known as Evolve Systems shortly thereafter.
As the business flourished, the need for a dedicated merchant services entity became clear, leading to the creation of Evolve Payment, the sister company of Evolve Systems. Merchant processing has a poor reputation, and understandably so. Aggressive pricing, pushy sales, and impersonal relationships are more predatory than productive, and Evolve Payment was founded to change that.
Despite being separate entities, the Evolve family continues to work together, offering integrated marketing and merchant services to our clients.
